As you can see, we have LOTS of fun, PLUS we just get to hang out with our friends and wonderful staff (but sitting and talking isn't an exciting photo!).
In late summer we had our First Annual Summer Celebration with the theme of "Sow the Seeds for Growth."
It featured wine tasting from different countries, unique appetizers from select restauranteurs and caterers of the county, elegant background
music from talented local musicians, a "non-auction" auction and the debut of The Buena Vista Roastery's Boys and Girls Club Blend of organic coffee (10% of sales goes to Boys & Girls Clubs). This event was touted as one of the best fund-raising events Buena Vista has had! It helped inform folks of the mission, value, and needs of this important community organization. Instead of charging admission, invitees were asked to consider making an investment that would qualify for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit.
